This holistic Sunday Series will guide you on ways to live with intention, reduce unnecessary stress, maintain a healthy brain, provide optimal care for our aging loved ones, and care for ourselves while caring for a loved one.

Taking Care of the Caregiver* note NEW DATE  Sunday, October 21st 
This session will address the challenges care givers face and how they can affect the caregiver’s quality of life.  To be the best caregiver, we know we have to take care of ourselves. This session focuses on self-care, renewal and re-engagement.

Our Facilitator: Sylvia Nissenboim, LCSW, Certified Coach, is a teacher, author and clinical therapist. She counsels and coaches individuals and trains individuals and professionals through her company, Lifework Transitions,LLC. (   Previously, she operated  Adult Day Service programs in St. Louis,  directed clinical services  for a national Employee Assistance Program and was a management consultant and trainer at Monsanto Company. Her book, The Positive Interactions Program, published in 1988 was the beginning of her training, mentoring and coaching practice.  In addition, she has been involved with numerous, professional, social service and faith-based social justice non-profit boards in St. Louis.

*UMSL School of Social Work will offer 2 Contact Hours for each of these classes for an additional $20/class.  Register & pay for class through Mercy Conference and Retreat Center.  Pay for Hours with cash or check (payable to University of Missouri School of Social Work) the day of class.
