FRIDAY, JUNE 28th – 7 p.m.
God Will Delight is a joyful celebration of David Haas and Lori True’s contribution to the world of congregational song. This compilation of eighteen of David and Lori’s most cherished works – taken from their most popular recordings – includes such classics as “You Are Mine,” “One Lord,” “A Place at the Table,” and “Blest Are They.”
The music of God Will Delight will stir your soul and move you to raise your voices in praise.
The performance begins at 7 p.m. – doors open at 6 p.m.

RETREAT: Show by Your Life, A Call to Holiness

June 29th – 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m.
Come spend the day reflecting, praying and discerning who you are truly meant to be. Our time together will include music and prayer, wisdom from theologians and prophets, silence and sharing. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to intentionally walk the path toward self-discovery.

DAVID HAAS is Campus Minister and Animator for the Taize’ Prayer Community at Cretin-Derham Hall in St.Paul, Minnesota, as well as the founder and executive director for Music Ministry Alive! www.musicministryalive.com an international liturgical music formation program for high school and college-age youth.; David is active as a liturgical composer, workshop presenter, author, concert performer, and recording artist. He is considered to be one of the preeminent liturgical composers in the English-speaking world, having produced over 50 collections of music and resources for GIA Publications. David has also authored several books in the areas of music and liturgy, youth ministry, religious education, and prayer and spirituality, and in 1991 was nominated for a Grammy Award for the recording of I Shall See God (GIA).  He has traveled throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, Italy, Germany, Ireland, England, the Bahamas, Israel, Greece, and Turkey presenting concerts and workshops, and recently received The Emmaus Award for Excellence in Catechesis from the National Catholic Education Association.  

LORI TRUE is from Richfield, Minnesota, and serves as Director of Ritual and Liturgy with the Sisters of St.Joseph of Carondelet in St. Paul, Minnesota. Lori is also active as a workshop and retreat leader, composer and recording artist, presenting at various parishes and conferences across the US and beyond. She also serves as Associate Director for “Music Ministry Alive,” a national liturgical music formation program for high school and college-age youth. She has performed on the recordings of David Haas, Marty Haugen, Ricky Manalo, Michael Joncas, and Paul Tate, and has four original recorded collections of liturgical music with GIA Publications: “A Place At the Table,” “There Is Room for Us All,” “Let This Be the Time,” and her latest rendering, “Mass of Mercy,” a mass for the Lenten Season. Her music appears in many hymnals and anthologies.
