Mayor Taylor Benefit Concert – June 9

Mayor Taylor – Live in Concert at Mercy Center

Lydia Ruffin, Charlie Pfeffer, and Mike Tiefenbrun create a sumptuous stew of traditional styles, from jazz to folk to spirituals, and a generous dash of original material. Lydia and Charlie have been singing together for more than 30 years, and their voices blend like a salve for the soul. Mike Tiefenbrun’s bass stirs the rich sound, along with Charlie’s mandolin and Lydia’s guitar and ukulele. Mayor Taylor is American roots music at its finest – a vocal and acoustic feast. Mayor Taylor Live, a double disc CD, was released in 2016.
