It has been said that we are really spiritual beings having a human experience. What do we want that experience to look like today? Perhaps one answer to this question can be found in one of the final prayers of Jesus, “that all may be ONE”. What do we really need to know, feel, and experience to have a meaningful life in today’s world?
Our program will provide an environment where we can:
- learn from the past to preserve our future
- have faith and awareness in the wisdom of the present moment
- restore hope for ourselves and future generations
- love all that is every day
- be reflective in every aspect of our lives
Our format will include presentations, small group discussions, and handouts. We will be drawing upon the writings of wisdom teachers such as Richard Rohr, Brian Swimme, Joan Chittister, Mark Nepo, James Hollis, Matthew Fox, and Macrina Wiederkehr in our presentations. Please join us as together we discover new meanings for our lives both individually and as a community in today’s world.
