Join us as we explore the practices and benefits of mindfulness while gaining support in establishing a daily practice. Resources will be provided to enhance your daily practice.
Two Classes Offered:
Tuesday Mornings: 9:30-11:30 am – February 18, 25, March 3 & 10
Monday Evenings: 6:30-8:30 pm – March 30, April 6, 13, & 20
Topics covered will include mindful breathing, mindful listening, and speaking, mindful eating, body scan, loving-kindness for others and self, as well as the neuroscience underlying the benefits of mindfulness: reducing stress, better physical and emotional health, slowing the aging of the brain, and strengthening relationships.
Our Instructor: Coke Hennessy has had a mindfulness practice of over 20 years and she is a certified mindfulness instructor, teaching mindfulness for over a decade.
