Join us as we explore the practices and benefits of mindfulness while gaining support in establish a daily practice.  Resources will be provided to enhance your daily practice.

Topics covered include: mindful breathing, mindful listening and speaking, mindful eating, body scan, loving-kindness for others and self, as well as the neuroscience underlying the benefits of mindfulness: reducing stress, better physical and emotional health, slowing the aging of the brain, and strengthening relationships.

Wednesday Evenings: 6:30-8:30 pm - April 7, 14, 21, and 28

Our Instructor:
Coke Hennessy has had a personal mindfulness practice of over 20 years. She is certified to teach mindfulness through the following programs: Mindful Schools Teacher Training, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program accredited through U C Berkeley, and The International Meditation Teachers Association – Professional Level. She has been teaching mindfulness to various individuals and groups for over a decade. Coke teaches Foundations of Mindfulness and Deepening Mindfulness Practice classes, as well as offering monthly Mindful Meet-Ups at Mercy Conference and Retreat Center.

COST: $120 for the 4-week class
We are hosting this Foundation of Mindfulness Class via Zoom*.  A link to the Zoom meeting will be included in your emailed registration confirmation as well as in a separate email shortly before each session.  The same link will be used for the entire 4-week class.

Note: This session will begin (and end) on time, so please log in to Zoom in time to get settled in.  A reliable internet connection is needed.
